Grantley Green, the Myth, the Man, the Legend.<\/strong> Two weeks prior to the 2nd anniversary of his death on 28th April 2024, \u00a0two students of Sam Sharpe Teacher’s College, Reanna Bernard and Aneta Wilson, received scholarships worth $250,000 each to assist with their studies. The scholarships are the result of fundraising by the Sam Sharpe Class of of 78, in which Grantley played a leading role, as well as the Green family.<\/p>\n

The family wishes to congratulate the \u00a0recipients, who were among a competitive group of worthy applicants, as well as the Class of 78 and the College Administration who made it possible the award of a scholarship that assists \u00a0the students of Grantley’s beloved Alma Mater.<\/p>\n

We are committed to raising funds annually to fund the scholarship. Going forward this website will set up a fundraising page for to accept contributions from family and friends.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
