Grantley Green, the Myth, the Man, the Legend. Two weeks prior to the 2nd anniversary of his death on 28th April 2024, two students of Sam Sharpe Teacher’s College, Reanna Bernard and Aneta Wilson, received scholarships worth $250,000 each to assist with their studies. The scholarships are the result of fundraising by the Sam Sharpe Class of of 78, in which Grantley played a leading role, as well as the Green family.
The family wishes to congratulate the recipients, who were among a competitive group of worthy applicants, as well as the Class of 78 and the College Administration who made it possible the award of a scholarship that assists the students of Grantley’s beloved Alma Mater.
We are committed to raising funds annually to fund the scholarship. Going forward this website will set up a fundraising page for to accept contributions from family and friends.
